Maverick Sabre on Tour!

We last caught up with Maverick Sabre backstage at Lovebox festival – but he has been busy since!

Not only is his new single, ‘I Need’,  amazing (check out the video below) but he has also been visiting Nihal on his Radio 1 show, putting in a guest appearance on Nevermind the Buzzcocks and  preparing for his UK tour.

Most of the dates are sold out BUT he has just announced a competition to win some tickets to his gig at KOKO. Head over to the official website to enter: http://mavericksabre.com/

FRANKIE & THE HEARTSTRINGS

These guys are just about to release their new single, ‘Everybody Looks Better (In The Right Light)’  – have a sneaky listen before it hits the shelves -  and will also be touring with The Vaccines this November/December.

We found love …

Rihanna has delivered yet again! We’re loving her style and super hot coupling in the much anticipated video for her new song, you guessed it – We Found Love – featuring our very own Calvin Harris.

For those of you in the know, there was a big fuss when Rihanna got kicked out of a corn field in Northern Ireland whilst filming some of the scenes. Seems farmer Alan Graham wasn’t too happy with Rihanna prancing about topless – must be the only man in the world to feel that way!

Beyonce’s Countdown

Seems Ms B can’t stay out of the headlines lately. After dismissing ridiculous claims that she has been faking her pregnancy, she is now faced with accusations of plaigirism based on the choreagraphy used in her latest video, Countdown.

Belgian choreographer, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, has been kicking up a fuss about her moves being stolen. Beyonce has since responded to the claims by saying that the video references the 60′s, 70′s, the film ‘Funny Face’ starring Audrey Hepburn and other icons Diana Ross, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol and Twiggy – as well as the ballet ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ (chorepgraphy in question).

Regardless of who did what, we think B looks beautiful! Check the new video (and a cheeky comparitive clip entitled Beyonce vs Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker we found on YouTube) out below.

Kerry Leatham

“Little bit of a daydreamer, little bit shy, little bit of a red wine lover, little bit awkward, not that great at conversation sometimes so stories through song works pretty well.”

Kerry Leatham in her own words. Can’t wait to hear more from this beauty – in the meanwhile check out her track ‘A Different Light’.

True Tiger

Love dub step? Then you need to get on some True Tiger!

With an album release scheduled for the near future, this collective have already collaborated with some chart topping talent worldwide -  Dappy, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg and Ed Sheeran amongst them.

They are also famed for their hit ‘Slang Like This’ featuring P Money.

Check out their website for some of the tracks and to keep updated on their gigs up and down the country.

Here’s a taster of what their album may sound like …  Pro Green & Maverick Sabre ‘In The Air’. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do.

Emeli Sande

We first noticed Emeli Sande when she was filmed by SBTV for an A64 – an impromptu acoustic performance – which blew us away…

You may also have caught her featurng on the Professor Green track,  ‘Read All About It’ or seen her stellar performance on Later with Jools Holland in September. Now with her debut album, ‘Our Version of Events’, available for pre-order and a UK tour lined up for November – we know Emeli is destined for great, great things.

Check out the official video of her first single, Heaven below.

No Regrets for Dappy!

Big congrats to our favourite N-Dubz member (well, almost – Tulisa is looking fine on X-Factor these days too!) for getting to number one in the UK Charts with his new single.

We’re loving the video. Check it out if you haven’t seen it – can you spot anyone you know playing the piano?

Dionne Bromfield

We’ve had our eye on Dionne for a while – not only is she super talented, but she also happens to be Amy Winehouse’s god-daughter, who we sadly lost recently.

Her new single, Ouch (Demons Never Die Mix), features up and coming MC Mz Bratt and clips from the soon to be released UK movie – which looks amazing!

Watch out for appearances from Reggie Yates, Tulisa, Chloe Mortez, Robert Sheehan, Emma Rigby and more.
