Recently named “Songwriter of the Year” at the ASCAP London Awards, Taio is currently gearing up the for early 2012 release of his much-anticipated new album, TY.O (Mercury Records), which features the new hit single, “Hangover” featuring Flo Rida. “Hangover” sees Taio re-teaming with hit producer Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Pitbull) for the first time since the duo co-produced Taio’s No. 1 blockbuster hit “Dynamite,” which sold more than 5 million singles and won three Billboard Music Awards, including “Top Pop Song,” “Top Digital Song” and “Top Hot 100 Song.”

RXTR stands for Riots  x Twelve Rebels, a metaphor for music and the impact it makes. All music is created using 12 notes and from those 12 rebel sounds, an array of inspired individuals playing a variation of unique instruments was created. Riots of music lovers from across the globe congregate to have the most incredible experiences of their lives. RXTR captures this essence of creativity, unity and energy, and fuses it into clothing worn by the RXTR’s (Rock Stars) and those who aspire to be them. Founded in 2010, RXTR set out to create lifestyle products in the arena of luggage and accessories that would complement the discerning individual. The beginnings for RXTR was in eyewear and upon its release, the brand was immediately embraced by major recording artists from around the world.
